The state Project Coordinator FADAMA Niger State Engr. Aliyu Usman Kutigi has been commended for his tremendous improvement and achievement witnessed across Niger state through the FADAMA projects (programme).
The commendation was made by Mrs Susan Sabastine one of the youths that benefited from Agric-prenure.
Susan stated that, Engr. Kutigi achievements in the fadama programme was equally visible in farming/irrigation whereby many irrigation schemes are being rehabilitated and constructed by the fadama project, Infrastructure whereby More than 30km roads in 5 locations rehabilitated, many bridges and drainages rehabilitated and constructed, 351 youths were trained as agric preneurs of which 185 (52.70%) are female.
Susan lamented that agricultural inputs were provided in other to boost agricultural products in Niger state.
“Engr. Aliyu Kutigi deserved to be commended for putting in place necessary administration and result oriented programme through the FADAMA project”.
She called on other state project coordinators to emulate the good leadership qualities as demonstrated by Engr. Kutigi and ensure the discharge of their responsibility and with Fair of God.
